In a country that has had lack luster literacy for years, Daliyah Marie Arana is a 4-year-old prodigy that has read over 1,000 books in the span of her short life.  The Huffington Post stated that 32 million adults in the U.S.  weren’t able to read in 2014, yet Daliyah has been recognizing words since the tender age of 18 months. The future looks bright for this young scholar as she continues to put her library card to use and shows the world some of her black girl magic.
